THERE IS HOPE BEHIND THE SOAP!!

I have been in business since 2018. Prior to opening my first store in Willoughby Hills, OH, I was homeless, living in a hotel with my two sons...

THE GOD MOMENT THAT CHANGED MY LIFE...

In 2014, during the beginning of my homelessness, I regularly picked fresh flowers from Wickliffe community garden and sought others to share them with. One day while visiting the Wickliffe library, I gave a woman one of my fresh flowers and a butterfly sticker' to place on her cell phone. The next day, I returned to the library and encountered the same woman who revealed to me, before I gave her the fresh flower and butterfly sticker, she was on her way to commit suicide! I was so moved by this experience, I went to my car and cried! I was balling!!!! I was so emotional and broken over the idea that a small gesture of kindness saved someone's life. I prayed and vowed to God if he helped me restore my life, I would seek to give random acts of kindness for the remainder of my life on earth. In November, 2018, I was given the keys to my first brick and mortar, fundraising soap shop in Willoughby Hills, less than one mile from the hotel I was living with my two sons!

God not only has answered my heartfelt prayer to serve my community with random acts of kindness via my craft as a soap maker, I believe the day I met the woman at the library was a 'divine' moment for me to lay hold of my divine calling in life... spreading HOPE regardless of how I feel and what's going on in my personal life. I am living the dream Helping Other People Everyday!!!!
